HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! Think about this night sixty six years back! What excitement there must have been in at least Delhi! Maybe a lot of people didn't even know what independence meant and what the future would hold for them, but I am sure that excitement was all pervasive and I am also pretty darn certain that there must have been an air of expectancy! People must have reposed all their faith in the leaders of that time and would have felt in their hearts that “Ah! Something great is happening and some good shall come of this!” And then as one of my friends is prone to saying- CUT 2!!!!!!! Modern day India full of such negativity and such misery! We feel sad that the dollar is 60+ and that onions are 80+…. We are so embroiled in our misery that we forget how to be positive… But let’s try at least!
