Strange.....
There are so many things that we have adopted and aped from the west.
Technology, mannerisms, education, entertainment....... But somehow the trend
of the answering machine and voice mails never seems to have caught on. Maybe
because of our family structures or the stay at home moms or because "Ramu
Kaka" was always around.
Even now when I call friends in the west the call automatically gets
screened and its to a voice mail box. And even then with a burgeoning telecom
industry we still havent caught on to this fad either.
Makes me wonder, Is all.........
