It is wonderful to see how the cities have by and large adapted to the methodology of segregating garbage into three main components- Wet, Dry & Recyclable.
I think that long before this system was applied to waste disposal, human beings already were using such a system in their lives for others of their ilk.
Thus, we have a system in which we have a mental categorization of exactly what purpose and to what extent we want to use another individual.
So we have friends with whom to watch movies, and other friends to hang out with at drinking holes, and then others with whom we share book details. Also there are friends with whom we share silly stuff that no one else seems to understand at all. And here I am using the word friend in it's loosest form with a very very expanded bandwidth.
Add to this gamut the people whom we go to just to cry and unburden yourself on. ( you are lucky if you have one of these in your life!) and of course needless to say these aren't the people whom we go rushing to, when something good happens to us. These are just the punching bags who see our angst and our bad moments, but somehow when the dice rolls in our favor, they aren't privy to it.
These are all the recyclable humans in our life whom we utilize from time to time, and then recycle as when it suits our purpose, but the best category I think would be the category of the Disposable Humans we inculcate.
These are the unclassified group of individuals with no nomenclature, whom we feel the need to be with for some period of time, and the best part is that we do occasionally inform this category that you are here only to be part of my life for as long as I need you and then you gotta vamoose. Any which ways, this category is bound to be disposed of,
This category of people share the same destiny as a Paper Tissue or a Sanitary Napkin. They are destined to be used and thrown. It is crazy that this category would want any better for themselves, after all a paper tissue does know that it's function is to wipe away tears, be they of sorrow or happiness. It's useless to try and treat these people any better than what they are destined for. And over time these disposable humans too know that the only contact they will have with the others is if they are ready to be used, so they lay themselves down repeatedly to be trodden upon.
But that's okay, they know their destinies, they know better than to expect anything more. So why should we hold back from ill-treating these people? They are after all just fulfilling their destinies!
So without compunction we can go ahead and recycle and dispose off humans!
It is so written!
